No, our vans are a completely self-contained unit. We have both warm fresh water and grey water tanks on board. We will never empty our grey water on your property. We have a generator that provides for all of our electrical needs. The unit is always climate controlled.
In our experience, this is usually not a good idea. You are your dog’s favorite person, so when you are present during grooming, your dog will be focused on you and not on sitting still for or cooperating with the stylist. There may be some occasions where the dog’s owner will be called upon to help calm or hold the dog during certain parts of the service, but generally the procedure should be a one-on-one experience between the dog and the stylist.
We accept cash, check and Venmo as payment for grooming services. There will be a $25 Returned Check Fee to cover bank fees incurred from a “Non-Sufficient Fund” (NSF) check. After a NSF check is received from a customer, only cash, Venmo, or PayPal will be acceptable forms of payment for future grooms.
Under no circumstances would we sedate a pet. If a pet is aggressive, please let us know before the appointment begins.
We reserve the right to stop or walk away from an appointment if we do not feel that we can adequately complete the groom. We will still charge for the service fee as well as any grooming that was completed.
Unfortunately no. We're a small company. Most of our schedule is filled with standing appointments for our happy, regular customers. Remaining appointments are generally booked 2-6 weeks in advance with an odd appointment sooner.
Of course! If you would like to use the same groomer for every visit, we would suggest setting up a standing appointment. This means that you would automatically have an appointment set up with the stylist of your choice (if availability permits) as frequently as you would like. It is recommended that most pets remain on a 4-6 week rotation.
Mobile grooming offers so many advantages to you and your pup, but it does cost a bit more than getting your dog groomed in a traditional shop. Since mobile grooming offers personalized, one-on-one service, we can only work on one pet at a time and service a limited number of pets in one day.
Mobile grooming is not a high-volume business, rather it is a premium service designed to reduce the stress of grooming on your dog and to be a convenience and time-saver for you.
Absolutely! Tips are always appreciated but never required.
Please give us at least 48 hours notice to avoid a cancellation fee. Due to the nature of mobile service, it is nearly impossible for us to fill a cancelation with short notice. Cancelations/reschedules without 48 hrs notice are subject to a charge of $50. Cancellations/ reschedules 24 hrs or less will be charged the full service amount. These fees must he paid before rebooking.
We understand there may be emergency situations and will work with you, but not on a continued basis. Please be respectful of our time as we are a by-appointment business, and another client could have taken your appointment if we had known.
We offer key service for our busy clients whom cannot always be home for every scheduled appointment. Ask your stylist for more information!
(Please note, the $50 cancellation fee may apply per pet. Stylists are compensated by the job not the hour and this time could have been given to another client.)
